Franck Tortiller, Patrice Héral, Michel Godard On ne sait pas vraiment si le propos de ces trois jazzmen est impertinent, il semble justement à l’extrême opposé : tout à fait à propos. Dans ce rythme lancinant impulsé par le vibraphone de Franck Tortiller, le ton est donné. Les deux musiciens, Patrice Héral aux percussions et à la voix, Michel Godard au tuba, il s’agit surtout d’une ambiance, un rythme tranquille au pas d’éléphant qui se déroule sur treize pistes…

We don’t really know if the purpose of this three jazzmen is impertinent, it actually might be completly on the contrary very opportunely. In Franck Tortiller’s vibraphone haunting rhythm, the tone is set. Patrice Héral on percussions and voice, and Michel Goard on tuba create an atmosphere, like the peaceful rhythm of the elephant step which expand on the thirteen tracks of the program. Is this trio about « Impertinance » because of the original instrumentarium ? Because of a music freed of all stylistic limitation ? Because of the happiness in the timbres, the melody and the dancing nature of the music ? The answer probably partly lies in the Impertinance of the spelling mistake !
